offers 3 programs in our community

Sardis Doorway ~

Sardis Doorway is a weekly support program for mothers of young children who find themselves parenting alone and under supported. Group runs every Wednesday morning from 9:30am-12:30 at Sardis Community Church September through June
MOMS’ PROGRAM

The moms’ program offers educational workshops, craft classes, emotional, physical and spiritual support.
Crisis Counseling is available as well as other support programs for those who have suffered abuse
Healthy breakfast and a hot lunch served.
Opportunities to receive certification training (ie First Aid, Foodsafe) are also offered throughout the year

CHILDREN'S PROGRAM

While the Moms are in their program, children are cared for by loving volunteers in small groups.
Ages 2 and up participate in a literacy rich, play based program that includes art, music, large & small muscle play, circle time, free play and kindergarten readiness.
Infants and Toddlers are cared for in a separate area. Breastfeeding is encouraged.
A nutritious snack and hot lunch are served.
Sardis Doorway works closely with the Fraser Valley Child Development Centre and Sto:lo Health for referrals and support.
Other referrals are available as needed

Sardis Doorway End Abuse Program

When Love Hurts is a facilitated group for women who have experienced abuse in a relationship.

Groups are offered during the day (with childcare) at Sardis Community Church and in the evening (no childcare) at Ruth & Naomi Family Centre.

Groups start 3 times per year.

Sardis Doorway for Young Moms ~

Sardis Doorway for Young Moms is a weekly group for pregnant or parenting young women who have not reached their 21st birthday.

Group runs on Tuesday mornings at Sardis Community Church October through June

Childcare, breakfast and transportation help provided as needed.

Participants can earn high school credits (SD#33)
